This index includes data entered by CAOA Preservation Partners, who dedicate their time to help us preserve the information that has been sent in by members of the Castor Association of America since 1983. The data comes in many forms including articles, census readings, scrap pieces of paper with a marriage, death or other information on it, historical documents, military records, birth/death/marriage documents. . . The goal is to not only preserve the fading documents, it is to create an index in which each person can be identified and linked to his or her ancestral family.

Data Entry by: B. Worthington long time member of the CAOA.
Knox Butte Pioneers: RuCu.01 Ruel Custer and his family left Iowa in 1852 and moved to Oregon. [Not found in the Archives]
The Custer Family:     PK.0.01.05 Paul and Sarah Martha (Ball) Custer  See also: Index to Custer Genealogies by Chester Custer.

Web Site created by: Second Site from data merged into The Master Genealogist by the CAOA Archive Coordinator/Web Master
People entries in the project: 64      People entries in the web site: 64, living people are not included.

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. More will be added as the data is received. Some blanks will be filled in from the CAOA Archives to help maintain families when some of the children are not included in the source. There are a few additions to help clarify the data. However, the majority of the data is "as is found in the book".
